The play area is excellent for children. You can get a refillable coffee and a juice and play time for about 7.50The food is very nice although it can be quite pricey for certain items, but there is a 2 mains for 8.99 option, so it is possible to keep costs down.
Food was ok but nothing flash. Child's meal was very poor. Chicken nuggets had very little chicken in them. The toilets had no locks on the doors and were pretty dirty. Service was good and staff friendly.
Out of all Brewers Fayre pubs we have been to this by far was the best in terms of Carvery Food, and Value and Quality. We didn't stay long for bairns go in play area but the Carvery was excellent. Turkey was succulent good portion, and the Stuffi g was Cranberry and Chestnut. Was absolutely Beautiful. Definitely will call again. Mash and Carrot Swede Mash was well seasoned lovely. Spot on Faultless.
Always a good selection of food, nicely presented and well cooked. Staff always helpful and pleasant. There are themed evenings, when an all you can eat style buffet is laid on. These are usually really good value, I have been to several but the curry night is my favourite.There are plenty of car parking spaces to the rear. It is also next door to a Premier Inn if you want to stay over, or easy to walk from if you want a meal.An all you can eat breakfast is served until 10.30am and children are served breakfast for free at present.
Not impressed. Chips overcooked seem empty! Half a roast chicken looked as if it had been in a microwave. So if you like crispy chicken forget it. Menu far too complicated. Cannot get a simple meal. Everything double with added rubbish. No healthy options. Otherwise comfortable place.
