Extremely bad for bullying, and I would not recommend this school to anyone who is sensible enough not to let their child to be harassed and bullied in the most unthinkable way. I had to transfer in year 11 from this school, and it reduced my curriculum to only 5 GCSEs. It was that bad they even got put under investigation by Department For Education, Teaching Regulation Agency, Ofsted and Durham County Council. Also, Durham Constabulary had to get involved, and the Secretary of state for Education, which clearly proves how bad things have got.
Very good school teaching. There is still a large amount of bullying going on. Often unseen or unreported. The bullying goes from distraction of property clothing etc. Even destruction of pupils uniforms. Destruction of others food during meal times. There is bullying outside school grounds at home time and on transportation.
Best school ever.Yes I am a student but I don't have to say this but it is a good school I highly recommend it to your children when they go to secondary school
